Peter French joined Equity Risk Partners in 2009, and leads the firm’s Infrastructure & Privatization Group. With more than twenty-five years of technical expertise in developing and implementing practical risk management strategies for the construction and real estate industries, Mr. French has experience in both the private and public sectors, as well as infrastructure, civil, mixed-use, multi-family residential, and power. He also has significant hands-on experience with all types of controlled insurance programs (wrap-ups) for owners, developers, and contractors.

Previously he served as National Construction Practice Leader for HRH, now part of Willis Group. Prior to his time with Willis Group, he held a variety of senior-level positions with Marsh in the Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego offices. Mr. French has held claims management roles with several large insurance companies, including Liberty Mutual and Wausau, as well as risk management responsibilities for San Francisco Bay Area firms Guy F. Atkinson Company and American President Lines. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco, and an MBA in Finance from the University of San Diego.
